Our design can be reproduced on a QUANTUM® XL-6000, XL-5000, XL-1000 or XL-150 using your Professional Sew Ware™ (PSW) software. It can also be reproduced on our new Futura™ machines. To stitch out this design we used Robison-Anton® Super Brite polyester embroidery thread in the following colors:

  1. Black (5596)
  2. Merit Gold (5763)
  3. Rust (5589)
  4. Sienna (5702)
  5. Golden Chair (9050)
  6. GS Grey (5802)
  7. Natural White (5642)

Bumble Bee Window Shade

Embroidery

A delightful treatment for any window.

Materials needed:

  • Upholstery fabric to cover window (see measurements below; yardage will depend on size of window.)
  • Lining for backing (see measurements below).
  • Download "Busy Bee" embroidery design from www.singerco.com.
  • Embroidery thread in the following colors for bumblebees:
    Black, gold, rust, brown, mustard, grey and white
  • Embroidery thread in the following colors for flowers:
    green, rust, gold and brown
  • White or black bobbinfil thread for bobbin. (This is a very fine thread used in the bobbin; sewing supply stores will carry it.)
  • One spool regular sewing thread to match fabric.
  • Tear-away stabilizer.
  • 1 curtain rod for bottom of shade.
  • Strip of 2 inch wide Fusible Heavy Duty Velcro the width of window shade.
