Materials needed:

• 1 ¼ yard of solid 60 inches wide fabric for a window that is 29 inches wide or less.
• For windows that are wider, whatever the width, purchase that in length plus ¼ yard. You will cut the pieces on the length rather than the width to eliminate having a seam in the middle of your valance.
• 1 ½ yards fusible interfacing. (Optional, purchase only if fabric is lightweight.)
• 4 one-inch buttons.
• One spool embroidery or all-purpose thread for decorative stitching in the color of your choice.
• One spool all-purpose thread in color to match fabric.
• 1 roll fusible web tape. (Optional)
